How to care for your Jewellery
Care for your jewellery.
Our jewellery is made with two metals, Aluminium for the leaves and petal etc. and Sterling Silver for chains and ear wires.
Proper care and maintenance are essential to keep your jewellery looking its best. Follow these guidelines to ensure the longevity and beauty of your handmade nature-inspired pieces from Photofinish Jewellery.
Aluminium Care
The aluminium used in our jewellery is lightweight and hypoallergenic. To clean your aluminium pieces, simply use a damp cloth add a bit of mild soap if needed. Gently wipe the surface of the jewellery to remove any dirt or residue. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as they could damage the finish of the aluminium.
Sterling Silver Care
Chains and ear wires in our jewellery are made from Sterling Silver. Over time, Sterling Silver can tarnish due to natural processes. To clean your Sterling Silver components, use a silver cleaning cloth. Gently rub the tarnished areas to restore the shine and luster of the silver. Avoid using liquid silver cleaners, as they can be too harsh and may damage the jewellery.
Preventing Tarnish
To prevent tarnishing of your Sterling Silver jewellery parts, it is important to store it properly when not in use. Place your unworn jewellery in a jewellery box or jewellery roll to protect it from exposure to air and moisture. This will help slow down the tarnishing process and keep your jewellery looking beautiful for longer.
By following these simple care instructions, you can ensure that your Photofinish Jewellery pieces remain in excellent condition and continue to bring joy and beauty to your everyday life.
