David Hitchcock Jewellery Designer David has always been a photographer at heart and it gives him great pleasure to bring this to his jewellery designs and his love of making. David’s stunning designs are all handmade and embody the beauty and colours of nature. The jewellery is made from photographs transposed and sealed into recycled aluminium and fitted with recycled sterling silver findings. He is proud to be showcased by Kew Gardens and has worked with the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Painshill Park and many leading independent galleries and gift shops. Many of the photographs used in his jewellery are from the surrounding Surrey Hills and since his move to Alton an increasing number from Hampshire. The Isles of Scilly is also a summer favourite for new images to use. With a 25-year career in nature conservation helping scientists study species from whales to wasps, nature was always going to be the inspiration for his jewellery designs. Photofinish Jewellery.
